What was the experience like to have the movie Twilight filmed at Carver Cafe? Did you have any roles in the movie? If so, what were they?
Sarah, Phill and Brianna (Kris’s daughter) were all extras in the background scenes at Carver Café.  Phill was the cook,  Sarah and Brianna were waitress’s. Sarah also got to be a double for Alice in a driving scene, but unfortunately it didn’t make it into the final cut of Twilight. Having Twilight filmed at Carver Café was an unforgettable experience! We never dreamed that something this awesome could happen at our restaurant. We met dozens of interesting people, including the author of the book series Stephanie Meyer. Sarah was able to chat with her the day of filming shortly after the scene of her cameo was filmed. Looking back on it I am very glad the crew took the time to introduce us. The Twilight crew transformed the inside of the café which was wonderful. We love it and the customers love it as well. It fits so well with the area and the logging photos are in some ways a tribute to our start   

Do you hope the directors come back and film future movies at Carver Cafe?
YES!!! We absolutely hope that they decide to come back. Overall it was an experience we would do again in a heartbeat. So, with that said our fingers are crossed.

Do you promote the movie?
Yes, we made beautiful shirts we sell specifically for the Twilight fans! We wanted them to be able to take something home with them to remember their visit to the Carver Café. “I got a bite at the Carver Café”.
